Sauti Sol Nominated For The 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards

Kenya's best boy band Sauti Sol has been nominated as Best African Act at the upcoming 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), making them Kenya’s first group to be recognised by the prestigious MTV global music ceremony. The "Sura Yako" singers are up against fellow African music giants: Davido (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Toofan (Togo) and Goldfish (South Africa), in this highly contested category.

Sauti Sol will represent Kenya and East Africa at 2014 MTV EMA ceremony that will take place at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow Scotland around on the 9th November. They will be joining a host of other international music acts and nominees including Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Eminem and One Direction, plus other big names.
