Singer Atemi Oyungu has openly come out to deny claims that she resorted to drug abuse after her father's passing.
According to the singer, the allegations have been going around for sometime now and she claims to have no idea of how or why they came to being.
She went ahead to claim that the only time she had health issues was when she was diagnosed with severe tonsillitis but advised against having them removed as there was a chance her vocal cords would be affected.
"No! I have been asked that question before and I really don’t know how that rumour came about. The only time I had issues with my health was when I had severe tonsillitis. The health professionals advised that my vocal cords could be affected if I had them removed.When I heard this, I was also surprised to hear about the rumours about the drugs," she mention during a recent media interview.
The sultry musician also revealed that she feels that she is yet to achieve her goal in her singing career. She is currently working with Tanzanian queen, Lady JayDee to record a new track..
