American based Senegalese singer Akon decided not taking chances with the Ebola scare in a recent performance in Congo.
Acoeedin to The Source, the Grammy nominee left the stage to crowd surf with the crowd in a huge plastic protective bubble.
The performance which was widely publicised was aimed at bringing a sense of peace and togetherness to the city of Goma in efforts to restore peace, which has been plagued with violence and unrest for the better part of the past twenty. It was part of promoting and supporting the United Nations’ International Day of Peace.
