One symbol of the presidency in Kenya is the Presidential chair. It accompanies the head of state everywhere he goes, of course together with the Presidential standard, red carpet and the motorcade; without forgetting the Presidential toilet.
Even with the president absent, the chair is treated like royalty. Very few people get the chance to come near it, leave alone touch it. It is unimaginable to see anyone other than the President sit on it.
This guy at Olkaria last week somehow managed to sneak past security and pose for a photo. Perhaps at this moment he felt like the acting president. However from his visible uneasiness, we can approximate his time on the throne was no more than a few seconds.
