KPL champions Gor Mahia have opened new talks with head coach Frank Nuttall to offer him a permanent contract after he led them to a record 14th premier league title this year.
Gor mania's secretary general Chris Omondi said that the Scotsman had passed the 3 month probation period to prove he can retain the title.
“Yes indeed Nuttall has passed the test and we will be making an offer so let’s hope he will accept because we will put what we can afford as the club,” Omondi declared.
Nuttall who joined the club in August after succeeding Harambee Stars head coach Bobby Williamson, revealed he was willing to stay at the club.
“We are happy to sit down with the chairman and discuss the future and let’s see how it goes,” Nuttall told Capital sport.
“I’m very delighted for all the players. The quality and mentality of the team was excellent and made my three months awesome. The form of the nine games has been good having won five drew three and lost one so I’m very pleased with everybody.
“It’s great for the club to play in the continental championship once again and I’m sure they have learned from the previous experience,” Nuttall stated.
