Last weekend one of the biggest sporting events in the world was going down: The 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Formula 1 motor racing event was held at the Yas Marina Circuit on the 23rd of Nov. This race was the final round of the 2014 season and determined the World Drivers’ Championship between Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and the famous Lewis Hamilton, with the latter winning both the race and the title.
Among the many racing lovers, it attracted some of the biggest names in the world including our very own President Kenyatta. In attendance too was the country’s best performing governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua and Machakos county First Lady Lilian Nganga.
