The ocurrent changes taking place at the Kibera slums are under the watchful eye of Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru.
The ongoing Kibera Upgrading Initiative by the NYS was launched last September and is aimed at managing solid waste, unblocking drainage systems and clearing and paving the roads in the slum.
This past weekend, the president himself made an impromptu visit to inspect the ongoing projects. On Monday Devolution and planning cabinet secretary Anne toured the slums to see the progress.
