A new update to Whatsapp now allows users to know when their message has been. The new feature which rolls in immediately sends a receipt to the message sender telling them when their message was opened.
Many people have been using the 'last seen' feature to guess when their message was read, but even with that it wasn't a sure thing as to whether the receivers opened their text or not.
