A killing unit within the Kenya Police which is contracted to carry out extra-judicial killings against people perceived to be a threat to national security has been exposed by Al Jazeera.
Sometop security documents obtained by Al-Jazeera’s investigative journalists indicate that the deaths of controversial Muslim Clerics, Abdi Rogo and Sheikh Makaburi were carried out by the dangerous police hit squad.
a few of the members of the killer cops who spoke to Al-Jazeera on condition of anonymity disclosed that they get orders from above and act with precision
“We never arrest, .... never .......We are sharp-shooters and we don’t go to arrest”. One of the members of the killer cops disclosed.
Sometimes, they kill suspects because they can’t provide enough evidence against them in court.
It’s estimated that the dangerous cops have killed about 500 people after getting orders from above.
