The Nairobi’s Southern by-pass high way, which runs along the Nairobi National Park fence across Langata Road into Kikuyu is nearing completion.
The project which involves construction of a 28.6km two way with 12km slip roads and another 8.5km service roads. The road is meant to decongest the city by providing an alternative route for motorists going to Western Kenya.
It starts from the junction of Mombasa Road interchange and ends on the Kabete-Limuru Road in Kikuyu town. The Sh17 billion project is 85% funded by Chinese Government, and should be ready by July.
