Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho is under fire from local artistes after he allegedly spent 3 million shillings entertaining Nigerian hot singer Yemi Yalade.
It is alleged that Joho, invited the singer to appear at the Mishikaki festival but it is not clear how the cash was spent.
Things are still not adding up. According to Yemi, she only ate a plate of pilau and a few drinks.
Yemi was in Mombasa to perform at the 9JA festival when she received a courtesy call from the governor to appear at the festival. So how did 3 million just go like that?
