More than 200 Secret Service agents are said to have arrived in Kenya and two armoured vehicles ahead of US President Barack Obama’s visit this coming July.
The is also expected to arrange security of two senior other officials expected in the country next week.
The vehicles are currently parked at the US Embassy in Gigiri while most of the officers are in Nairobi though another team has been sent to Kisumu.
The information also indicate that the country was declared relatively safe before the White House announced President Obama’s visit.
Obama will be in the country for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
