SONU’s controversial chairperson Babu Owino recently
revealed that the former president of Libya, the late Muammar Gadaffi was his
sponsor.
The University of Nairobi’s student leader who is known to

He has been the SONU chairman for two times in a row and
many people have been questioning his source of wealth, and here is what he had
to say:
Long time ago, Libyan late president Muammar Gaddafi used to my best
friend and he used to finance me. When he (Gaddafi) died, I was left a
financial orphan. I decided to look for other international friends who I will
not disclose, because when I reveal their international identity they are
killed just like what they did to Gaddaffi
