For Women: 5 Ways to Get pregnant Fast

Sometimes it gets a little difficult for some women to get pregnant, and when this situation comes, majority of them become anxious and even depressed. Make sure you see your fertility doctor when you think you might have a serious medical condition. But before that, it is wise to think of a few things you can do by yourself to try and fix things up. Here are a few suggestions.

1. Have Sex As Often As You Can

There is a huge probability for a woman who has sex every day to get pregnant as compared to another who doesn't. According to research, regular sexual activities can greatly help in increasing the chances of a woman in getting pregnant as it triggers the immune system changes that boost the likelihood of getting heavy. According to Tierney Lorenz, the head researchers from the university’s Kinsey Institute:

“It’s a common recommendation that partners trying to have a baby should engage in regular intercourse to increase the woman’s changes of getting pregnant even during so-called ‘nonfertile’ periods although it’s unclear how this works. This research is the first to show that the sexual activity may cause the body to promote types of immunity that support conception.”

2. Build On Your Ovulation

Another important thing try out when looking to get pregnant. You must figure out when you ovulate  and know when your cycle takes place. It is only when a sperm meets the egg that your dream of becoming pregnant can come through. However, this egg can only come once in a month, around day 14 in your cycle, hence, the need to know your ovulation period. Women should however realize that their most fertile period comes during your ovulation, therefore, build on it!

3. Know The Right Positions

Many don't take this seriously but experts have overtime opined that different sex positions play a big role in conceiving. There has been assumption that the ‘missionary position’ (man-on-top position) is the best for getting pregnant. This is assumed manly because the missionary position is a great gateway for deep penetration, and helps the man’s sperm to be ejaculated as close to the cervix as possible (the opening of the womb)

4. Your Weight Matters

While being overtly thin can significantly slow down your fertility, being overweight can also affect your fertility, which makes it important to maintain a good weight. As an overweight person, it means there is excess fat in the body, this unnecessary fat in turn produces excessive estrogen, and this can interfere in ovulation.

5. Take Folic Acid

When trying to get pregnant, folic acid is a vital supplement for the woman. Experts say that women who take folic acid before trying for a baby (ideally for at least 3 months before conceiving and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy) have lesser chances of having a baby with conditions like spina bifida.
