Rogue gynecologist Mugo Wa Wairimu who was recently accused
of defiling his female patients has been released on a kes. 5 million bond,
with a surety of a similar amount with an alternative of kes. 1 million cash
bail.
Nairobi Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo warned Mr. Mugo
against contacting witnesses on the case against him as it would risk him
having his bond cancelled.
James Mugo Ndichu who is commonly known to many as Mugo Wa Wairimu
was on Friday arraigned in court to answer to charges of rape, administrating a
tranquilizer and operating unlicensed clinics.
The fake doctor denied all the charges even as the
prosecution made an application asking the court to deny him bail. His lawyer Cliff
Ombeta argued that the charges facing the Mr. Mugo were billable.
Mugo Wa Wairimu owns several clinics in Nairobi and is
alleged to have sedated and raped a woman in one of his clinics. There is another case pending in Makadara
court linking Mugo of practicing without authority.
