Former Bongo Flava star Joseph Haule popularly known as Professor Jay was elected as a member of parliament for Mikumi Constituency a few weeks ago, becoming the first biggest name in East Africa to successfully join politics.
Professor Jay was yesterday officially sworn in as member of parliament for Mikumi Constituency and he is now ready to start his official duty.
The new Tanzania parliament saw the former deputy speaker elected as speaker of the new parliament.
The MP took to his Instagram account to post a photo of the swearing in and also to thank this supporters for trust they have put in him.
