With the recent rising cases of corruption in the country, everyone is on high alert and many government leaders are now ben investigated.
According to reports by the star newspaper, a 21-year-old son of a governor in Rift Valley has Sh200 million in his account. It is not clear when the money was deposited or where it came from, but those in the know suspect someone known to him must have deposited the cash. The money was discovered by a detective investigating his father’s accounts.
Now although they didn't mention a name, some other sources have revealed that the governor in question is Cleophas Lagat although this cannot be confirmed at the moment.
The account was recovered after a private investigator who was hired to investigate the governors accounts and money sources stumbled upon it.
