US Ambassador Demands Prosecution of CS Waiguru and Others Involved

The Us ambassador has warned against corruption  at the recent signing of  USAid and Kemsa's Sh65billion drugs and medical equipment supply deal.

The Ambassador who was obviously speaking about Anne Waiguru's latest scandal said that the current level of corruption is threatening the growth of the economy and that the relevant authorities should take a quick action to put an end to it.

"We know corruption is a crisis in Kenya and it threatens growth. It must come to an end," Godec said during the launch of the project in Embakasi, Nairobi, on Monday.

"All those engaging in corruption in Kenya must be prosecuted and jailed; no double standards."

The ambassador however did not say anything concerning those involved and if they will be banned from entering the US but from the direction this is heading, we are likely to hear it in the coming days if no action is taking against the corrupt officials.
