Wetangula's Sister Slapped By Senator Ongoro's Bodyguards

Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula's younger sister yesterday claimed she was assaulted by a policeman and a few other men in an ODM convoy at Mathare in Nairobi.

Emmeryncian Naswa, sasy she was slapped by a few men, among them a policeman who accused her of blocking the road.

Naswa was in the company of her husband David Kiganda in a Subaru Legacy  and were making a turn at the NYS Engineering School near the Kenya School of Monetary Studies. They were forced to stop as one matatu was making a turn in front of them and that's when the men came out of their vehicle and started accusing her of blocking the road.

“We were at the stage and there was a matatu making a turn in front. We stopped to let the driver turn. All of a sudden, three men emerged and slapped the driver, who is my husband, and the other man came to my side and slapped me too. They said we were blocking them,” Naswa said.

The men who are alleged to be senator Elizabeth Ongoro's bodyguards then went back to their vehicle and drove off.

Senator Ongoro  however has denied claims that his bodyguards slapped Naswa and her husband, she said that those were not his bodyguards.
