The anti-corruption pole have raided the home of former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru as part of investigations into the loss of Sh791 million belonging to the National Youth Service.
The detectives, assisted by area police officers, also staged simultaneous raids in the homes of former Devolution Principal Secretary Peter Mangiti, former NYS director general Nelson Githinji and 11 other senior NYS officials among them deputy director Adan Harakhe.
Speaking to journalists, A Waiguru's lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi said that the police who carried out the search also took several documents with them to aid them in the investigation.
He also mentioned that the exercise was done with consent from all the officials involved, and that no one was harassed in the process.
According to a report, the search warrants were issued by the court.
