It was bad news for a 26 year old woman in Kiambu after she was brutally beaten almost to death by her husband for declaring that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will succed Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2017 general elections.

The couple has been engaged for four years and it was a shocking experience for the husband to react in such an inhuman manner due to a disagreement in a political debate.

According to the woman who just recovered from a comma after the brutal beating, she claims her husband came home with an unusual mood and engaged her in politics after they had their dinner and after she mentioned that Raila will beat Uhuru in the election, the husband became mad and started beating her up.
