A video has been trending over the weekend showing some officials from South Africa football club Kaizer Chiefs sprinkling what looks like "luck" Powder-like substance and water on different spots of the soccer field and goal posts before a match begins.
In the video, a member of team is seen walking around the field, surrounded by others who pretend to be inspecting the field while their friend is sprinkling what they obviously believe is holy water and powder to bring them luck during the match.
Apart from the strange substances, the players follow one official (who is doing the ritual) in a particular pattern, probably to fulfill the ritual. watch the video below
