Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi aka Sonko's daughter was rushed to hospital on Sunday after a minor accident as she was playing.
Sonko, who is on a tour of the Coastal region to mark the festive season, said that his daughter had lost one of her toenails during the incident.
He took to it social media to post photos of his daughter on a hospital bed while he was standing beside her.
The senator, who is currently busy campaigning for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat added that his daughter was treated and discharged from the hospital and is recuperating at home.

“So painful: What a sad day to start the new year! My daughter while playing with colleagues lost one of her toe nails, was rushed to hospital, treated and discharged.”
Sonko urged Kenyans to join him in wishing the young girl a quick recovery.
