Singer Juliani to Set Up Arts Centre for Dandora Youth

One of Kenya’s most celebrated rapper  Juliani has once again gone out to give back to the community by establishing an arts centre in Dandora estate.
The musician said the centre’s main agenda will be to develop art into a paying job, as well as nurturing and supporting small businesses. It will include a community radio station, recording studio, music school plus an office space.
The rapper’s vision is to see the many unemployed youth who often resort to crime get empowered and transform Dandora to it’s former glory as a hip hop city.
“Eventually we seek to redefine brand Dandora into the hip-hop city it used to be. Art, enterprenuer and technology are viable tools in reducing unemployment and crime among the uth. Through this platform, we will be able to transform a lot of young people in Dandora and the whole of Nairobi.” He mentioned.
