Popular Nigerian Singer Wizkid performed in Nairobi this past weekend and from what the fans say, it was the best concert this year. Not forgeting American Hip-hop King 2 Chainz will be coming to rock Nairobi early next month.
We are not sure if he has been requested by a local musician about a collabo, but from what he said, we are now sure that none of Kenyan artist will want to do a collabo with him. You would rather buy a Volkswagen toureg than spend that cash on a single song.
“I charge N10million($ 51,000) for collaboration but i don’t charge the people i love. (but) i don’t pay for collaborations because i am confident of myself”, the singer said.
The only singer who has been close to the guy is Victoria Kimani, we cant tell if there is something going on between the two, but if you are to expect any collabo soon then you need to look out for her.
About two weeks ago, Victoria and Wizkid posted a photo on instagram getting a little cozy during a hangout, but we couldn't tell where and when exactly the photo was taken. We would assume that the 'friend' he is talking about with regards to a collabo is none other than her.
