Mziiki, the largest music streaming app has unveiled Kenyan reggae artiste Wyre as their new brand partner. Wyre will join high flying Bongo star Diamond Platnumz.
Wyre will now be the face of the music brand in Kenya.
“Mziiki is a cool place for people to find new music and enjoy music from their favourite musicians. It’s very exciting to be a part of the Mziiki app,” said Wyre.
The application which is available on iOS, Blackberry and Android mobile devices offers music-lovers a simple way to access new music anytime, anywhere.
According to Spice VAS Digital CEO Arun Nagar, , the app offers artists a great way to expand their fan-base.
“Because Mziiki is easy to use, and boasts a large array of African and international music, artists will get the opportunity to expand their sales and get their music out there while minimizing piracy. Mziiki allows users to explore new genres and artists that they haven’t heard before. We’re happy to have Wyre, who is one of Kenya’s top and most renowned artists, join Mziiki as a Brand Partner. The app was first launched in May this year and has hundreds of exclusively licensed African musicians. A web and tablet version for Mziiki is currently under development and is expected to be released this month.
