Moses Kajwang's Tour of Homa Bay Interrupted by rowdy Youth

Violence erupted at Olare Market in Homa Bay county when supporters of senatorial aspirants Moses Kajwang clashed with supporters of  Philip Okundi. Locl police were forced to fire in the air to disperse the rowdy crowd in the Sunday afternoon incident.

Homa Bay women representative Gladys Wanga said some ODM supporters were injured during the chaos. At the Olare market, Kasipul MP Oyugi Magwanga, John Mbadi (Suba) and Gladys Wanga spoke before they introduced Moses Kajwang to address the crowd. When Kajwang began his speech, supporters of Okundi stood up against  him, prompting the clash.

The ODM leaders avoided Homa Bay town where it was to hold its last meeting of the day and opted for Rangwe Township.
