Type 1 Diabetes which is sometimes referred to as the juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes is very common. It is basically a condition in which the pancreas is unable to produce or produces very little insulin.
Although you can;t really pin point a particular cause, there are various factors that contribute to type 1 diabetes. These include but are not limited to Family history, genetics, geography and age.
Here are the symptom of Type 1 Diabetes
- Increased in thirst
- Urinating frequently
- Bedwetting especially in children who previously didn't wet the bed during the night
- Feeling Hungry
- Unintended weight loss
- Irritability and other mood changes
- Fatigue and weakness
- Blurred vision
- In females, a vaginal yeast infection
