Symptom of Type 1 Diabetes


Type 1 Diabetes which is sometimes referred to as the juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes is very common. It is basically a condition in which the pancreas is unable to produce or produces very little insulin.

Although you can;t really pin point a particular cause, there are various factors that contribute to type 1 diabetes. These include but are not limited to Family history, genetics, geography and age.


Here are the symptom of Type 1 Diabetes
  • Increased in thirst
  • Urinating frequently
  • Bedwetting especially in children who previously didn't wet the bed during the night
  • Feeling Hungry
  • Unintended weight loss
  • Irritability and other mood changes
  • Fatigue and weakness
  • Blurred vision
  • In females, a vaginal yeast infection
