Moi University main campus in Eldoret has been closed indefinitely following student riots at the institution . The riots started after an election went wrong.
A section of the students went on rampage as they claimed the elections of the students body had been rigged. property of unknown value was destroyed which left the administration body with no choice but to close the institution.
Here is the memo released by the vice chancellor that required students to vacate the campus grounds immediately
