The Obamas will be exiting the white house come January 2017.
But as most presidents sully retire after their term and take a holiday or a house far outside the DC, the Obamas will still hang around since their younger daughter, Sasha, has a couple years of school left.
They'll be trading the White House for a luxurious brick mansion in the upscale DC neighborhood of Kalorama, just two miles away. This makes President Obama the first president to stay in DC after his term since Woodrow Wilson in 1921.
According to Popsugar magazine, the Obama will be staying in a $5.3 Million mansion, and its worth every penny of it. Here are the photos.
