It is revealed that the Nairobi University lecturer who was found with a decomposing body of her 13 years old is son is Hannah Kahungani Inyama, lecturer at the Faculty of School of Nursing.
The police were called by the care- taker of Kifaru Front Apartments in South B, after a foul smell emanate from the house. The care taker claimed that Hannah used to have a house help but she left a few months ago.
He said the last time he saw them was four days ago. The neighbors and teachers from the boy's school have tried to reach Hannah through her phone but she was not picking.
The caretaker decided to peep through a window and that is when he saw a body wrapped in a yellow striped brown blanket.
Hannah told the police that the boy stopped breathing on Saturday morning. She said she knows her son will resurrect.
Family members claims that in the past few months Hannah had shown signs of withdrawal. They suspect that she might be suffering from depression.
The police arrested Hannah and they will subject her to mental check up awaiting investigation.
