A form one student at Cardinal Otunga Girls in Bungoma county committed suicide after deputy headteacher embarrassed her in front of other students.
It is reported that the girl sneaked into the staff room and filled out a fresh exam paper. She then awarded herself some marks and placed the paper with the rest of the exam papers.
Unfortunately she was caught in the act and later deputy headteacher embarrassed her at the assembly. It is then that she went to the dormitory and hang herself with a bed sheet.
Her body was found yesterday taken to Bungoma County Referral Hospital. The school have not yet commented on the matter.
