KISS 100 is the station many in their twenties listened to when they were still in their teens. It is one of the oldest fm stations in the country and one of the major reasons why it’s still hitting today is presenter Caroline Mutoko.
Althogh she is known for both wrong and right reasons, she started with it and her talk show still resonates with people of different ages even today.
However, starting this Monday, she’ll no longer be hosting the Big Breakfast. She is said to have taken a new managerial position at Radio Africa and stepping into her really big shoes will be Kalekye Mumo and Shaffie Weru.
Carol’s co-hosts Linda Nyangweso and the funny Chipukeezy have now been pushed to the afternoon drive show.
With her departure, the station’s brand name KISS 100 has been changed and the most noticeable thing is the missing ’100′.
The ’100′ which is believed to have been lifted from their easy to remember frequency 100.3, and it seems like they've dropped it.
Here is the new logo that comes with the rebranding.
