Korogocho Ward MCA Maxwell Ochar was shot in the shoulder by a lone gunman as he boarded his car at about 6 am today.
According to the area police, the MCA was boarding his car within Riverside Estate, when a gunman, who seemed to have been waiting, struck. Nairobi County police boss Benson Kibue said the gunman rode off from the scene soon after the incident.
Speaking to the press Kabue said “The motive of the shooting is yet to be established but officers on the ground are pursuing the attacker,”
No arrest has been made so far.
