A man in Meru county pleaded not guilty before court on allegations of having sex with a cow.
Mr. Boniface Gitonga denied the allegations before Meru Principal Magistrate Joseph Karanja on Wednesday where he was accused of having intimate relationship with a cow last Monday.
The prosecution said that Gitonga was caught in the act by villagers at Thungura-Meitei village in Buuri sub-county.
He was released on a Sh50,000 bond with a surety of similar amount, or an alternative of Sh 25,000 cash bail.
