Police have arrested Standard journalist Wahome Thuku for allegedly insulting a member of parliament on his twitter account.
Wahome was first taken to the CID office where he was interrogated before being taken to record a statement at the parliament police station.
According to the journalist, the police officers who arrested him also took his mobile phone probably collect more evidence and investigate the matter fully.
According to sources, Wahome was arrested after Mukruwe-ini Member of parliament Honorable Kabando Wa Kabando threatened to take legal action against Thuku.
Wahome who writes majorly on legal affairs, seems to have rubbed the MP the wrong way. Investigations are still going on.
