The director of public prosecution Dr. Keriako Tobiko has said that he will finalize the investigation into the case involving pastor james ng'ang'a and make his decision whether to go ahead with the prosecution on wednesday.
Although the decision isn't final, the DPP said that they are “likely to prosecute” all those involved over the accident that led to the demise of wife and mother Mercy Njeri, last month.
Speaking to the press, Tobiko said “ we have been working to tie up loose ends in the file” handed over to him by Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet last week.
He also mentioned that the majority of the gaps in the file have been addressed and the process should be completed in the next couple of days.
According to previous reports, Tigoni police station had placed Mr. Simon Maina Kuria behind the wheel of the Range Rover and while he was arraigned before the Limuru Law Courts but the police boss ordered a reinvestigation.
