Caitlyn Jenner is one person who popularized transgender and
many people have now embraced it. It’s kinda normal to hear that a dude has
changed his gender.
Many have bitterly condemned the act but others find it
‘cool.’ Kenyans too have derivative this
‘uprising’ culture with no fear or shame.
Recently, a man from Embu, Martin Njeru Kariuki changed his gender
to be female, Martin Lisa. When she was contacted to clarify why s(he) changed
his gender, her had the following to say:
You can’t be blamed for being you, for choosing to do that which
tickles your fancy. I am happy the way I am, I have embraced this new prototype
and everybody else can go live how they deem appropriate’’
