Is it good luck or hard work? I am not sure which is which
but believe me or not Citizen TV’s Swahili news anchor Swaleh Mdoe, system Units topper de top DJ Mo, Homeboyz
radio presenter Amina, radio Jambo’s radio host Mbusi and Citizen TV’s Julie Gichuru have landed a new job courtesy of Safaricom.
Safaricom settled on the five media personalities for the
big campaign going on dubbed ‘This Is My Kenya.’
The telecommunications giant is running the campaign to give
Kenya a positive image; it aims at changing the negative perception about the
254 and subsequently market the country as the ideal tourism destination.
The idea is to get individuals to share captivating images
of Kenya that depicts how beautiful this country of ours is.
Here is what DJ Mo had to say:
“Am greatly humbled yet again to be among the chosen faces for the big
campaign going on currently about This Is My Kenya. The images we send out will inspire positive
knowledge or reflect the negative image our Kenya. Choose to be positive.”
