Meet the man whose name appears as the owner of Weston Hotel in Nairobi - He is in ODM!

According to the  DAILY POST, it appears that the name of the man that appears on Government records as the rightful owner of Weston Hotel, Nairobi, that has been severally linked to Deputy President, William Ruto.

According to documents available at the Registry, the controversial hotel is owned by a real estate magnate, Patrick Osero.

Osero, who is a close ally of Ruto, is the largest shareholder of the hotel which has other local and foreign shareholders.

Osero is also an ardent ODM party member who contested the Borabu Constituency seat in Kisii on an ODM ticket last year where he emerged second after losing to Wiper Democratic Movement’s Ben Momanyi.

Although Osero joined ODM in the run-up to the last General Election, he has been a close associate of Ruto since their time in the Youth for Kanu 92 lobby group.

Osero is the man who paid Sh6 million to bail out the Deputy President during the earlier years of the Kibaki Government when he was charged with land grabbing.

Ruto and Osero have always been very close and as a result, he was appointed the Chairman of the Agriculture Finance Corporation (AFC) for two years by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
